Leading-
-Hold a meeting fortnightly to disseminate necessary information & plans to team members
-Praise them when they did their task well & give suggestions for improvement
-Allow members to voice out any unhappiness during the course of carrying out task
-Invite new ideas & opinions -Treat them to dinner at the end of the pageant to acknowledge their hard work

Controlling-
-E-mail or fax progress reports to the chairman to make sure everything is in order
-Take corrective action if tasks are not perform up to expectations

1. General environment : Economic dimensionDue to the economic recession, a decision made by the company was to cut costs. This led to extensive lay-offs.
2. Task environment : CustomersDue to slow transaction rate, which was the result of a shortage of manpower, there is little or no customer satisfaction. This may end up in a reduction of customers which will result in a reduction of profits. Bad attitude and frustration from customers result in low worker's morale and motivation to work efficiently.
